A Supplication For More Wealth and Children

The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wassallam) recommended the Muslims to have many children. In a hadith recorded by Abu Dawud (Hadith 2050), the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wassallam) said:
“Marry those who are loving and fertile for I will be proud of your great numbers before the other nations!”

So if your hoping for many children and for Allah to bless you in them, then consider the supplication of the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wassallam) for Anas b. Malik!

Imam al-Bukhari reports that Anas was given to the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wassallam) as a servant by his mother (Umm Sulaim). She said to the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wassallam): “Anas is your servant; supplicate to Allah for him?” The Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wassallam) then supplicated:

اللهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمِا أَعْطَيْتَهُ
(Allahumma akthir maalahu wa waladahu, wa baarik lahu fee maa a’taitahu)
“O Allah! Increase his wealth and progeny, and bless him in whatever you bestow him!”

Al-Bukhari recorded this in several places in his Sahih, including under the chapter heading “The supplication for plentiful wealth and progeny along with blessings.” See hadiths 6334 and 6380 for example.

By the will of Allah, and then the Prophet’s beautiful supplication, Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, attained a great amount of wealth and over 100 children!

To make this supplication for yourself, read the supplication as follows:

اللهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالي وَوَلَدَيِ وَبَارِكْ ليِ فِيمِا أَعْطَيْتَنِي
(Allahumma akthir maali wa waladi, wa baarik li fee maa a’taitani)
“O Allah! Increase my wealth and progeny, and bless me in whatever you bestow me!”

May Allah make us blessed in all that we do! Ameen…

With this in mind, prophetic-medicine.com was set up in order to make this priceless information and research easily accessible and comprehendible in today’s age.
