When The Lord Rose Over His Throne

Postby Shehzad Sattar » Sun Jan 01, 2017 2:12 am

Abu Ash-Shaikh said in his book (Al-Adhmah), that he narrated from Walid Ibn Aban, who narrated from Abu Hatim, who narrated from Nuaym Ibn Hammad, who narrated from (Abdullah) Ibn Al- Mubarak, who narrated from Sufyan (Ath-Thawri), who narrated from Ismael Ibn Abi Khalid, who narrated from Abi Eesa (may Allah have mercy on him), (who narrated from Uthman Ibn Affaan (may Allah be pleased with him)), who said:

(‘Verily, when The Lord rose over His throne, an angel prostrated, and he never raised his head and he will not raise it until the hour is established, and he will say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘I never worshipped you how you deserved to be worshipped’’.))

And in this narration, all the narrators are (from the greatest) Imams (of the Salaf).

Translated by Hussain Suleman.

A narration mentioned by Imam Ath-Thahabi in his book: ‘Kitabul-Arsh’ as evidence that Allah is above the seven heavens, above His throne, in a manner that befits His majesty.
The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people..”
