Following The Authentic Hadith - Shāmi Hanafī (Died 1252 A.H)

Shāmi Hanafī said,
"When an authentic Hadīth is found and that Hadīth goes against our (Hanafī ) Madhab then one should act upon the Hadīth and that will be the Madhab of Abū Hanīfa and by acting upon the authentic Hadīth one does not come out of the fold of being a Hanafī because Abū Hanīfa has said that when the Hadīth is authentic then it is my Madhab."
