Warning against reciting the Qur'aan at "Supersonic" speed

Narrated `Uqbah Ibn `Aamir that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

❝People will come forth from my Ummah who will drink (recite) the Qur’aan like (the way) they drink milk.❞

In another narration it ❝water❞ instead of ❝milk❞

[Tabaraanee in Mu`jam al-Kabeer (821) and by al-Faryaabee in Fadhaa’il al-Qur’aan (109) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (1886) and Saheeh al-Jaami` (3653)]

Meaning: ❝They will glide through the Qur’aan with their tongues without contemplating over its meaning nor implementing its commandments. They will glide through it like how milk or water slides down the throat of its drinker.❞
